Launching from the famed Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Falcon Heavy, a reusable super heavy-lift launch vehicle, successfully deployed a Tesla and a mannequin named “Starman”. Elon Musk’s SpaceX company launched this breath-taking mission which was intended to be a voyage around the Sun and orbit towards Mars. However, it appears the rocket may have overshot its path and could put the cherry-red Tesla and its captain into an asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. In a synchronized fashion, two of Falcon Heavy’s rockets detached, returned to Earth, and touched back down on landing pads at the Space Center.

SpaceX currently has hundreds of available technical opportunities, both contract and direct, in their Hawthorne, CA and Redmond, WA facilities.
