Covid-19 ravaged the U.S job market. Before the pandemic in February, the unemployment rate was at a historic 50 year low of 3.5%. Fast forward to now and millions of people are out of work. The unemployment rate climbed to an astonishing 14.7% in April with Government officials predicting a peak of 15.8% this summer. The American worker and consumer is definitely living through an unprecedented time full of uncertainty.
